Building Futures Beyond Homelessness

At Vinnies QLD, we believe everyone deserves a safe, secure place to call home. That’s why we’re focused on building futures beyond homelessness—through prevention, crisis support, and long-term housing solutions.
Our 500 Homes project is the largest housing investment in our history. With support from the State Government, we’re working to double our housing stock and provide more Queenslanders with stable, affordable homes. So far, 147 homes have been secured, with construction on several sites set to begin in 2025.
But our work goes far beyond housing alone. From early outreach by our dedicated Vinnies QLD members to emergency accommodation and wraparound support, we’re there every step of the way.
Funds raised through the 2025 CEO Sleepout will help us deliver the remaining 353 homes, creating real, long-term change for people at risk of or experiencing homelessness across Queensland.
Together, we can lead the way to transform lives and to help everyone have a home.

We welcome all business and community leaders outside Brisbane and from across regional Queensland to join us virtually on the night by tuning in to the live stream and sleeping out in their cars, backyards, couches or somewhere safe.
