One night isn't a lot, but it can make a whole lot of difference
Every night, thousands of Australians experience homelessness. But it doesn't have to be that way. This year our team is taking part in the Vinnies CEO Sleepout to raise money for the St Vincent de Paul Society to support Australians in need. For one night, all of us will be sleeping outside as part of an eye-opening experience to raise awareness and bring home the realities of homelessness.
To help break the devastating cycle of homelessness, we need your support. Will you help us reach our target? Donating $100 can make a huge difference to people who need it most.

I see the impact of the current economic every day I go to work. The Tully memorial park near where I live used to regularly have say a dozen homeless campers. Now it it overflowing. This is one location. So I can only imagine how much harder it is across Australia. Great cause mate.

Hi Adam, It is so good to see your dedication in being part of the CEO sleepout for many, many years, even when this topic fades in and out of public consciousness. Your ongoing participation and leadership send a powerful message about compassion, responsibility, and the role we can all play. This cause is especially close to my heart. A close friend of mine once experienced homelessness, and it was only through a chance connection — meeting the woman who is now his wife — that his life turned around. His journey is a constant reminder to me that behind every number is a real person with dignity, a reminder that we are all created in God’s image. I also have another friend working in local government who is deeply engaged in trying to understand and respond to homelessness at a systems level. He’s working hard to balance the needs of vulnerable individuals with those of local businesses — a complex and often delicate challenge. That’s why leaders like you who step up year after year, matter so much. You have kept the conversation alive, drive meaningful support, and remind us that change is possible.
