One Night Outside. A Chance to Help Change Lives.

Each night, many of us are fortunate enough to sleep safely
in a bed, on a mattress, under a roof. Unfortunately, not all Australians are
in that position.
This year, I am taking part in the Vinnies CEO Sleepout
to raise funds for the St Vincent de Paul Society and support our fellow
Australians doing it tough.
As a father of two young children, I am especially focused
this year on raising awareness for children, teens and young adults suffering
from homelessness and sleeping rough.
In the single month of December 2025, the number of
children aged 10 to 17 who were homeless was:
- 3,084
in NSW
- 3,674
in Victoria
- 797
in Western Australia
For one night, I will be sleeping rough outside on a single
piece of cardboard as part of a humbling experience designed to raise awareness
and bring home the harsh realities of homelessness.
To help break the devastating cycle of homelessness in children,
I would really appreciate your support. A donation of $100 can make a
meaningful difference to people who need it most.
