Help women and children fleeing domestic violence by giving them a safe place to go.

On 18 June, I’m taking part in my first Vinnies CEO Sleepout. For one night, I’ll be sleeping outside to raise awareness and crucial funds for women and children experiencing homelessness because of domestic and family violence.

In Australia, domestic and family violence is one of the leading causes of homelessness for women and children. Every year, thousands are forced to flee their homes with nothing but the clothes on their backs, left with nowhere safe to go.

That’s why I’m supporting the St Vincent de Paul Society’s work to create a new 20-place refuge in Victoria. This vital project will provide crisis accommodation and wraparound support services to help families in immediate need, giving them not just shelter, but stability, safety, and a real chance to rebuild their lives.

Safe housing can be the difference between despair and hope. It breaks the cycle of trauma and homelessness and helps people move forward with dignity and strength.

I’m asking for your support. Every donation, no matter how small, will make a direct and meaningful difference in the life of a woman or child who needs safety and a fresh start.
