One Cold Night, One Huge Difference!

In last year's Vinnies CEO Sleepout I was humbled to learn the extent to which hunger and homelessness is growing in Australia. Every night Vinnie's supports a growing number of families in dire need through their food truck, food markets and food delivery programs. They also do amazing work combatting Australia's homelessness crisis. 

Whilst not all homelessness is immediately visible, stepping outside my Fitzroy pad on any given night provides a scary preview. Every night, thousands of Australians experience homelessness whilst other families have to make the devastating choice between food and shelter. The scary reality is that with just a few bad turns of luck, so many of us can end up in similar circumstances so easily. 

We must act immediately to make a difference and we can do that together, so I now invite you to join me and the entire Schnitz team in taking a stand and providing much needed support. 

This year I'm taking part in the Vinnies CEO Sleepout together with our team to raise money for the St Vincent de Paul Society to support Australians in need. Sleeping rough outside is always a humbling experience and brings home the realities of homelessness. It will be cold, but it will be worth it.
