One night isn't a lot, but it can make a whole lot of difference
I’m taking part in the Vinnies CEO Sleepout this year to help raise awareness and vital funds for Australians experiencing homelessness.
Through my work with Lamp Inc, I see every day how closely mental health, social isolation, and housing instability are connected. Many of the people we support through psychosocial programs have experienced periods of homelessness, insecure housing, or the real risk of it. Safe housing is often the foundation that allows people to focus on recovery, stability, and rebuilding their lives.
While spending one night sleeping outside cannot replicate the realities faced by people experiencing homelessness, it is an opportunity to better understand the challenges many Australians face and to contribute in a practical way.
Funds raised through the Vinnies CEO Sleepout support the critical work of St Vincent de Paul Society, providing emergency accommodation, food, and support services for people doing it tough.
If you’re in a position to contribute, even a small donation can make a real difference. Together we can help ensure more people have access to the support, dignity, and stability that everyone deserves.
Thank you for your support.
