One night isn't a lot, but it can make a whole lot of difference
I’m humbled to be taking part in the 2026 Vinnies CEO Sleepout, raising funds for the St Vincent de Paul Society to support people experiencing, or at risk of, homelessness.
This is something I have wanted to do for a long time. Over the years, I have seen the reality of homelessness in different parts of the world, men, women and children in the underground subways of London, on the streets in France, in parks across New Zealand, and under shopfront doorways here in Perth.
It is confronting wherever you see it, and it has never sat comfortably with me.
Even in 2026, too many people are still without the basic safety of a roof over their heads, food on the table, and a place to sleep with dignity.
In my own small way, taking part in the Vinnies CEO Sleepout is a chance to do something practical and support the St Vincent de Paul Society’s work with people doing it tough in our community.
If you are able to support, I would be deeply grateful for any donation or share.
