This is my chance to give back.

Hello to everyone in my network and to those I have yet to meet. I am participating in the Vinnie's CEO Sleepout this year. Why am I doing it? As a young woman with two very small children I experienced insecure housing and, on one dire occasion, in winter, homelessness. I was fortunately able to link into services and have never looked back. I champion causes that support families escaping family violence, in its many forms, whenever I can. This is why I chose to sleep out in the cold this June.
And, whilst I have the privilege of a snow rated sleeping bag, and the convenience of being able to take extra blankets, snacks, and a thermos of hot chocolate, I am deeply aware that this is something that homeless families often don't have. Especially when fleeing. If you are able to support me, even by sharing my page on your socials, I would appreciate it. Thank you.
