That’s why Vinnies is raising money to provide people experiencing homelessness and people at risk of homelessness with vital access to food and accommodation. We also provide education, counselling, employment and health services to help people overcome poverty in the long term.

Mathew Kratiuk braved the Vinnies CEO Sleepout and shared his own experience of homelessness. Mathew experienced what he describes as “the perfect family” until his parents separated when he was 12….he eventually ended up alone on the street.
Catherine has faced challenge after challenge in her life. As a single mother who escaped domestic violence, Catherine has raised three daughters on her own, and in recent years family illness and financial hardship have left Catherine struggling to get by.
Joe was experiencing homelessness and was a heavy user of methamphetamines. He wanted to turn his life around, and sought out Vinnies to assist him with accessing detox and rehabilitation programs for his drug addiction.
