One night isn't a lot, but it can make a whole lot of difference
This year is my first CEO Sleepout.
The numbers are hard to grasp - more than 120,000 Australians experience homelessness every day. And as an Aboriginal-owned business, we know the impact for First Nations people is even greater. They represent 3 per cent of Australia’s population, yet are 15 times more likely to be homeless or face housing insecurity.
One night doing it tough is nothing compared to the reality that so many experience every day. The funds raised through the CEO Sleepout help Vinnies continue vital work for people experiencing, or at risk of, homelessness.
