From building homes to helping those without one
Every night, thousands of Australians go without a safe and secure place to call home — something many of us can easily take for granted.
As the NSW Building Manager for Clarendon Homes, I’ve spent my career helping build homes for families across the state. I started out on the tools as a carpenter, physically building homes with my own hands, and today I lead a team delivering hundreds of homes each year. Having seen firsthand the importance of a safe place to call home, this cause is one that really resonates with me.
This year, I’m taking part in the Vinnies CEO Sleepout to raise vital funds for the St Vincent de Paul Society. For one night, I’ll be sleeping outside to gain a small insight into the challenges faced by Australians experiencing homelessness — and to help drive awareness and support for those doing it tough every day.
To help break the cycle of homelessness, I’m asking for your support. Every donation makes a real difference — whether it’s $50, $100 or any amount you can give — helping provide accommodation, food, and support services to those who need it most.
Together, we can help make sure more Australians have a place to call home.
