Participating in their 1st Vinnies CEO Sleepout
Homelessness is a growing issue for Canberra
Every night, thousands of Australians experience homelessness. Here in Canberra:
The number of rough sleepers has doubled
30% of people seeking homeless services are children
The number of older women seeking help has gone up 18%
We can help make a positive change. I'm taking part in the Vinnies CEO Sleepout to raise money for the St Vincent de Paul Society to support Canberrans in need. I'll be sleeping rough as part of an eye-opening experience to raise awareness and bring home the realities of homelessness.
To help break the devastating cycle of homelessness, I need your support. Will you help me reach my target? Donating 50 dollars can make a huge difference to people who need it most.
So far this year I helped provide
Individual support programs
