One night isn't a lot, but it can make a whole lot of difference
Every night, thousands of Australians are without a safe place to call home — but it doesn’t have to be this way.
This year, I’m taking part in the Vinnies CEO Sleepout to raise crucial funds for the St Vincent de Paul Society, helping provide immediate and long-term support for Australians doing it tough.
For one night, I’ll be sleeping outside — just a glimpse into the harsh reality faced by so many. It’s an eye-opening experience, and a way to raise awareness and take meaningful action against homelessness.
Affordable housing shouldn’t be a privilege — it should be a right. We’re passionate about finding solutions for children who go to sleep without a roof over their heads, for families trapped by the housing crisis, and for people who deserve a fresh start.
