I’m back for more! This year I’ll again be taking part in the Vinnies CEO Sleepout.
Last year, I slept on a piece of cardboard and got maybe an hour of sleep. It was cold, uncomfortable, and confronting, but also a powerful reminder that for too many people, this isn’t a one-off experience. It’s every night.
In my role, I see the incredible work services do to support those experiencing homelessness, including Vinnies.
That’s why I’m doing this again.
The Sleepout is about raising awareness, but more importantly, raising funds for practical, on-the-ground support like meals, accommodation, and pathways to stability.
