One night isn't a lot, but it can make a whole lot of difference to those in need and sleeping rough.
Every night, thousands of Australians face the harsh reality of homelessness and many more are struggling just to keep a roof over their heads. It’s a situation no one should have to endure.
This year, I’m once again taking part in the Vinnies CEO Sleepout on the Gold Coast to raise funds for the St Vincent de Paul Society and support Australians doing it tough. For one night, I’ll sleep outdoors to gain a small insight into the challenges faced by people experiencing homelessness and to help raise awareness of this growing issue.
The funds raised provide practical support such as emergency accommodation, food, counselling, and long-term assistance to help people rebuild their lives.
I’m asking for your support to help me reach my fundraising goal. Every donation, large or small, makes a real difference. A contribution of $100 can help provide critical support to someone in need.
