One Night to Make a Difference
Every night, thousands of Australians experience homelessness.
Here in Canberra, winter isn’t just uncomfortable, it can be brutally cold. Freezing temperatures, icy winds and long nights make sleeping rough especially dangerous.
This year, I’m taking part in the Vinnies CEO Sleepout to better understand that reality and to help make a difference. For one night, I’ll be sleeping outside to raise awareness and funds for the St Vincent de Paul Society, who provide critical support to people experiencing homelessness.
It’s just one night for me, but for many Australians, this is their everyday reality.
If you’re able to, I’d really appreciate your support. A donation of $100 can help provide warm meals, accommodation, and vital services to those who need it most.
