Hi, I’m Luci, and 2026 marks my 5th year as Vinnies NT CEO
Sleepout event coordinator.
I’ve been joining-in and sleeping out with other wonderful
community leaders who have put their body on the cardboard and have been lucky
enough to witness the incredible generosity that comes from the Territory
community each year.
I also see the reality behind why we do it... because
homelessness is real, complex, and happening to one in twelve Territorians
every single night.
For one night this June, I’ll (again) face the elements and sleep
outside to raise awareness and funds for Territorians experiencing homelessness.
The difference is, I get to go back to my cozy bed, pets, a
hot shower and safety the next day… many people don’t have that choice.
(ALL TERRITORY EVENT FUNDS RAISED STAY IN THE NT!)
