I'm no stranger to the outdoors and physical discomfort, but I don't like camping in the cold.
For just one night this June, I'm sleeping on cardboard outside in Canberra as part of the Vinnies CEO Sleepout. Every night, thousands of Australians experience homelessness. We never know the devastating personal circumstances that lead each person to be on the street. We do know our support systems are failing, as throughout Australia the rate of homelessness continues to grow. It doesn't have to be that way.
St Vincent de Paul Society provides support to people at risk of homelessness through programs such as Street to Home, Vinnies Roadhouse, Night Patrol and the Blue Door Drop-In Centre. Please help us support Australians in need. Donating $100 can make a huge difference to people who need it most.
