One night isn't a lot, but it can make a whole lot of difference

Every night, thousands of Australians experience homelessness. For many, disability is part of that story, whether through inaccessible housing, limited supports, or systems that don’t always meet people where they are. It doesn’t have to be this way.

This year, I’m taking part in the Vinnies CEO Sleepout to raise money for the St Vincent de Paul Society, supporting Australians doing it tough, including people with disability who are disproportionately impacted by housing insecurity and homelessness.

As a leader in the disability sector, I see how quickly things can unravel when people don’t have the right support, safe housing, or a system that truly includes them. For one night, I’ll be sleeping outside. Not to replicate that experience, but to help raise awareness and contribute to change.

To help break the cycle of homelessness, I’m asking for your support. Will you help me reach my target? A donation of even $100 can make a meaningful difference to people who need it most.
