One night isn't a lot, but it can make a whole lot of difference
Later this year I’ll be taking part in the Vinnies CEO Sleepout to help raise funds for the St Vincent de Paul Society and support Australians experiencing homelessness.
It’s confronting to think that, on any given night, thousands of people across Australia don’t have a safe place to sleep. Spending one night outside is obviously only a small glimpse into that reality, but it’s a way to raise awareness and, more importantly, funds that go directly towards practical support for people who need it most.
If you’re in a position to contribute, I’d really appreciate your support. Every donation genuinely helps, and even something like $100 can provide immediate assistance through food, accommodation support, or other essential services.
I’m also very grateful to have the support of our founders here at Mayday. Imogen Storie, one of our founders based in Queensland, has kindly offered to partner with me and help with fundraising locally, so you may also see communication from Imogen as we work together to raise awareness and funds.
