Business Leadership for Impact
We know housing affordability and homelessness are defining challenges of our time - especially for communities across Southeast Queensland. And we know these issues are front of mind for many of our students and staff.Taking part in the Vinnies CEO Sleepout is a way for us to recognise those who are experiencing, or at risk of experiencing homelessness and to support the frontline services working every day to respond to this crisis.
It also reflects our broader commitment to social impact that shapes how we teach, research and lead 💡🌱🌏 Our team brings together leaders from across Griffith University, alongside members of our Griffith University Alumni community, united by a shared belief that access to secure, affordable housing is fundamental to wellbeing, participation and opportunity.
As a business school, our contribution extends well beyond fundraising.
Through research focused on housing affordability, community wellbeing, financial literacy and the policy and economic settings that shape societal outcomes, our academics work with government, industry and community partners to help inform practical, evidence‑based responses.
We’re proud to support the CEO Sleepout again — backing research, leadership and action that aim to make a real difference in our community.
