One night isn't a lot, but it can make a whole lot of difference
I’m taking part in the Vinnies CEO Sleepout in Brisbane to raise vital funds and awareness for people experiencing homelessness — an issue that’s incredibly close to my heart.
I’m deeply passionate about supporting those who are doing it tough, not just by raising money for essential services, but by shining a light on the often-overlooked mental health challenges that come with homelessness.
Sleeping rough, facing daily uncertainty, and being disconnected from support networks can have a devastating impact on a person’s mental well-being. These are not just housing issues — they are human issues.
While one night out in the cold doesn’t compare to the harsh reality so many face, it’s a step toward building empathy, starting conversations, and driving real change.
Together, we can break down stigma, improve mental health support, and help create a future where everyone has a safe place to call home. Thank you for standing with me in support of this important cause.
