Help break the cycle of homelessness, especially for young care leavers.
This year marks my fifth CEO Sleepout, and I’m more committed than ever to shining a light on the challenges faced by young people transitioning from care.
Finding a safe place to live is something many of us take for granted. But for too many care leavers, it’s out of reach. According to CREATE’s 2021 Post-Care Report, 30% of young people who left care experienced homelessness within their first year—with some experiencing five or more instances of being homeless.Â
That’s why I’m once again trading my bed for cardboard to raise awareness (and funds) for those experiencing homelessness, this year at the Adelaide Zoo.
Help me to spark some change whilst I bunk with the penguins, pelicans, monkeys and lions.
Please support my fundraising and help create a future where no young person has to face homelessness alone.
