One night isn't a lot, but it can make a whole lot of difference
Hi! I'm Dustin.
Housing isn’t a simple issue. It’s complex, layered, and requires real collaboration across all levels of government as well as the public and private sector working together to create lasting solutions for Australians.
For LGBTQ+ people, the challenge is even greater. Our community experiences housing stress and homelessness at rates 2–4 times higher than the general population.
Every night, thousands of Australians experience homelessness — but it doesn’t have to be that way.
One night isn’t a lot, but it can make a whole lot of difference.
That’s why I’m taking part in the Vinnies CEO Sleepout on June 18, raising funds for the St Vincent de Paul Society to support Australians in need. For one night, I’ll be sleeping outside — not as a solution, but as a way to raise awareness and bring home the reality of homelessness.
I’m doing this to start conversations, and to bring my community with me in supporting real change.
If you’re in a position to give, I’d really appreciate your support. Even $100 can make a meaningful difference in helping break the cycle of homelessness.
