Spending one night sleeping rough is a small sacrifice. But it’s a powerful reminder of the importance of compassion, community, and action.
Homelessness is not simply a housing issue — it is deeply connected to financial vulnerability, mental health, family breakdown, and lack of support during crisis. The work of organisations like Vinnies is vital in providing not only shelter, but dignity, connection, and hope.
Here in Wollongong the strength of our community is one of our greatest assets. I am participating in the CEO Sleepout to raise funds and awareness for those who don’t just experience hardship for a night — but live with it every day. Spending one night sleeping rough is a small gesture, but it represents my commitment to standing with those in our community who need support the most.
I’m asking for your support to help raise funds for the vital services that assist people experiencing homelessness in Wollongong and the broader Illawarra region.
Whether you choose to donate, share this page, or start a conversation, your support makes a real difference.
Thank you for helping support those in our community who need it most.
