Vinnies CEO Sleepout 2026
This year I'm taking part in the Vinnies CEO Sleepout to raise money for the St Vincent de Paul Society to support Australians in need. For one night, I'll be sleeping outside as part of an eye-opening experience to raise awareness and bring home the realities of homelessness.
For me, at its core, this is about helping people sleeping rough and understanding how this comes to be for so many, what are their stories, and how can we make a difference in what is a complex problem?
I am particularly passionate about mums and dads, and their kids who are forced out of their homes for any number of reasons and end up sleeping in cars, tents, or worse - this breaks my heart - and in a well-resourced country we should be able to do better.
I will be grateful for any assistance you can provide no matter how big or small, and realise everyone have causes they are passionate about and support already so even if it is just words of encouragement that will do!
