It’s about stepping up when it matters and supporting people who need help, not
just through words, but through action.
Homelessness is an issue affecting our communities every
day. Right now, more than 122,000 Australians are experiencing
homelessness, and over 116,000 people have no secure place to sleep. Many are
living in cars, on the streets or in temporary accommodation. Among them are
families and around 17,000 children under the age of 12.
This year, Civmec CEO Pat Tallon is taking part in the
Vinnies CEO Sleepout for the eighth time to help raise awareness and much‑needed
funds for Australians without a safe place to call home.
