It's uncomfortable - but nothing like what others experience daily

In our region alone, the formal stats show almost 1800 in our community experience homelessness EVERY night - but at the coalface, community providers believe that number is higher. It doesn't have to be that way. As an Ambassador for this amazing event, I am again taking part in the Vinnies CEO Sleepout to raise money for the St Vincent de Paul Society to support Australians in need. Our fundraising goes directly to program delivery - helping a huge range of programs like the Night Patrol, Street To Home program, and emergency assistance. For one night, I'll be sleeping outside as part of an eye-opening experience to raise awareness and bring home the realities of homelessness.
