One night isn't a lot, but it can make a whole lot of difference
Tonight, thousands of Australians will sleep without the safety of a home.
For many, this isn’t a one-off night — it’s a daily reality.
This year I’m taking part in the Vinnies CEO Sleepout to help raise funds for the St Vincent de Paul Society, which supports Australians experiencing homelessness and those at risk of falling into it.
For one night, I’ll sleep outside to gain just a small glimpse of the challenges faced by so many people across our community. While it’s only one night for me, it’s a powerful reminder of the importance of raising awareness and funding for services that help break the cycle of homelessness.
