One night isn’t much — but it can make a real difference
Every night, thousands of Australians experience homelessness — but it doesn’t have to be that way.
This year I’m taking part in the Vinnies CEO Sleepout to raise funds for the St Vincent de Paul Society and support Australians who are doing it tough.
Supporting vulnerable communities is something close to home for our family. My wife works with the United Nations supporting refugees, and through her work we often see how fragile stability can be for many people.
For one night, I’ll be sleeping outside to gain a small insight into the challenges faced by people experiencing homelessness and to help raise awareness and funds for those who need it most.
I’ve committed to raising at least $5,000, and I’m hoping to go well beyond that with the support of my network.
For friends, family, and individuals, a contribution of around $100 can make a meaningful difference and help provide essential support to people in crisis.
For business leaders and organisations, this is also an opportunity to contribute at a larger scale. Many corporate supporters choose to contribute $500, $1,000 or more to help fund critical services such as emergency accommodation, meals, and long-term support programs.
Every contribution matters and will go directly toward helping Australians experiencing homelessness.
Thank you for your support.
