Will be revealed soon.

Available Shortly

Starting at 6:00pm, you’ll arrive and learn first-hand of what it’s like to live through the harsh realities of homelessness and poverty and you will meet Vinnies volunteers and support staff. Every conversation is another opportunity to learn more about poverty and homelessness in Australia.

What happens?

It’s a Sleepout – but you’ll do much more than sleep. You will hear from people who have experienced homelessness and disadvantage and how Vinnies supported them. You’ll have the chance to ask questions and make powerful connections with others who share the same desire for change.

While you can plan to dress warm and use your best sleeping bag, there’s no way to truly prepare for an evening like this. Just know there’s plenty of support on hand and a wonderful community of leaders ready to experience this with you. And if you feel unwell, we ask that you remain at home.

What to bring:

  • Appropriate clothing, a pillow and a sleeping bag.
  • Your phone, tablet and camera (fully charged) to capture the experience

What not to bring:

  • Luxury bedding, blow-up mattress, yoga mat or any other camping materials.
  • Your own food – you’ll be served a basic dinner and brekky. There’s water, tea and coffee available.

The Vinnies CEO Sleepout is for registered participants only. We do not allow entry to friends, family (including children), colleagues, or your pets. Alcohol is strictly off limits.
