One night isn't a lot, but it can make a whole lot of difference
Every night, thousands of Australians experience homelessness. But it doesn't have to be that way. It's my 14th year participating in this important event.
As a union
leader I am committed to social justice and protecting the rights of workers
and I know how easy it can be to find yourself out of a job, fall on hard times
and spiral into homelessness.
It would be unimaginable to have to live through a Sydney winter without a roof over your head. It’s these people I will be thinking of as I huddle up for the night under cardboard and it would great if you could sponsor me to raise money for this important cause.
All money raised will go towards helping the many people experiencing homeless to find the warmth, safety and dignity that they desperately deserve. It only takes a moment to make a difference.
