Meet Sarah – a CEO Sleepout success story
No one should experience homelessness. Especially not a single mum with two kids.
But soon after Sarah’s son was diagnosed with cancer, the family’s landlord issued a ‘no grounds’ eviction.
They ended up sleeping in a tent, in the middle of winter.
Terrified for her children’s health, Sarah reached out to Vinnies for help. In less than a month, the family were offered transitional housing. And a path out of homelessness.

By taking part in the Vinnies CEO Sleepout, you’ll help us raise vital funds for Vinnies’ homelessness services.
If someone is experiencing or at risk of homelessness, you'll help them access the emergency food and accommodation they need. You’ll also help provide education, counselling, employment and health services to tackle the root causes of inequality – and help end homelessness for good.
