One night isn't a lot, but it can make a whole lot of difference
Every night, thousands of Australians experience homelessness. But it doesn't have to be that way. I work with over 15,000 kids around Oz and we speak about the things many tend to take for granted; a roof over their heads, a family around them, consistent education and the ability to be involved in sports, arts, extra curricular activities.
Again, this year I am taking part in the Vinnies CEO Sleepout to raise money for the St Vincent de Paul Society to support Australians in need. And to raise awareness in particular for the kids involved in those tough situations and the wonderful parent/s trying to get through it.
For one night, I'll be sleeping outside again, as part of the eye-opening experience to raise awareness and bring home the realities of homelessness.
To help break the devastating cycle of homelessness, I need your support. Will you help me to reach my target? Donating $100 can make a huge difference to people who need it most...however even donating $5 can help us reach our goal. Be part of the solution with me....and please let your kids know why we do this!
