Participating in their 2nd Vinnies CEO Sleepout
One night isn't a lot, but it can make a whole lot of difference
Over 270,000 people were helped by homelessness agencies
in Australia over the 2022-2023 financial year. Support like that would not be
possible without the amazing work of agencies like Vinnies, and events such as
the CEO Sleepout.
The CEO sleepout helps to raise funds to provide
essential services to those that need it most – things like emergency
accommodation and food, and also education, counselling and health care.
I participated in this event for the first time last year
and I had no idea what to expect. I was overwhelmed by the impact that the
event had and the real difference it can make to the lives of people
experiencing homelessness.
I am honoured to be able to join in again this year.
