Sleeping rough for one night to shed light on Veteran homelessness
Veteran homelessness is a significant issue in Australia, with an estimated 5,800 or 5.3% of former Australian Defence Force personnel experiencing homelessness each year. This is significantly higher than the 1.9% of the broader population experiencing homelessness. Key aspects of veteran homelessness include PTSD from Service, involuntary post-separation depression and anxiety, loss of identity and purpose, substance abuse and family breakdown.
For one night, I will be sleeping out to shine a light on veteran homelessness and the hidden numbers of those 'couch surfing' and living in vehicles or garages of family and friends. To help break the devastating cycle of homelessness, impacting Australians, I need your support.
Will you help my challenge to reach a target of $5,000. Any donation, no matter how small helps.

Mark, We’re proud to support one of our own as he takes part in the CEO Sleepout to raise awareness for homeless veterans doing it tough. As a former serviceman himself, his commitment to this cause is deeply personal and inspiring. Every contribution makes a difference—let’s get behind him.
