One night isn't a lot, but it can make a whole lot of difference
On the night of June 19th, i'll be swapping my warm bed for a piece of cardboard and sleeping out in Newcastle as part of the Vinnies CEO Sleepout. I'm doing this not just for the experience, but to raise vital funds and awareness for the more than 120,000 people experiencing homelessness. Of those, over 50,000 are women and children - an alarming reality in a country as wealthy as ours.
This is not about a single night in the cold; it's about making a long-term impact. Every dollar raised will go directly to Vinnies services that provide food, accommodation, education, and crucial support to help people break free from the cycle of poverty and homelessness. Together, we can help create a future where no one is left without a safe place to call home.
My goal is to raise $20,000 in the next month, and i do your need your help to get there. Whether it's a small donation or a larger gift, your contribution will make a real and lasting difference. Please stand with me in this mission - because everyone deserves dignity, safety and hope.
