It’s not about the one night of sleep…. As I’m very aware that this experience will never come anywhere near the actual experience of homeless individuals sleeping rough.
Through working with homeless and underprivileged populations everyday and hearing their unique stories…. I have come to learn just how incredibly cruel and complex life can be for so many.
With immigrant parents, an amazing life and so much gratitude for living in this beautiful city, giving back to Brisbane has become part of my ongoing purpose.
What’s most inspiring is the power of being able to collaborate with so many other like-minded leaders who share the same passion for creating change in our local community….and they come together with the motivation to make it happen…all on one very cold but heart-warming night in Brisbane :-)
