One night isn't a lot, but it can make a whole lot of difference
More and more Australians are finding themselves homeless. A growing number of these are the working homeless, people that are in stable employment but simply can not afford the cost of their own place to live.Â
The number of working homeless has increased by a stunning 27% in the 2020s. 23% of the total homeless population are aged between 12-24. Even more are couch surfing from one location to another, uncounted in the official statistics.
This is why I'm taking part in the Vinnies CEO Sleepout again this year. $100 can go a long way to help mothers, students, workers and other people, people like you and I, get a roof over their heads, with basic needs like a place to brush their teeth and have a wash met.Â
To help break the devastating cycle of homelessness, I need your support. Will you help me to reach my target? Donating $100 can make a huge difference to people who need it most.
