We are sleeping out this winter!

This winter, we will once again join other business and community leaders to sleep out on a cold winter night. Why do we do it? Vinnies #CeoSleepout helps us understand the plight of the homeless and the complexity of the homelessness issue. People become homeless not by choice. Some are born into difficult circumstances; some suffered business failures, broken marriages, family violence, substance abuse, or simply as collateral damages of the above. Many are trapped in the cycle of poverty and could not find a way out. The truth is, homelessness is multi-faceted issue. It cannot be solved by simply putting a roof over someone's head. Often, the greatest poverty is not financial, but to be robbed of one's dignity.
