One night isn't a lot, but it can make a whole lot of difference
One night is only a small gesture, but together we can make a meaningful difference.
Each night, thousands of Australians experience homelessness, uncertainty, and hardship. Many are families, older Australians, women and children escaping violence, or people simply facing circumstances that became overwhelming.
This year I’m again taking part in the Vinnies CEO Sleepout to help raise funds and awareness for the St Vincent de Paul Society and the important work they do supporting Australians in need.
For one night, I will sleep outdoors as a reminder that while many of us can return home to warmth and safety, too many people in our community cannot.
My hope is that through this small act we can help provide practical support, dignity, compassion, and pathways forward for those doing it tough.
