One night isn't a lot, but it can make a whole lot of difference

In my twenty years of working in housing, I've seen a lot and learned even more about the struggles people face without a stable home. I firmly believe that housing is a fundamental right, and I am passionate that everyone has a safe place to live.

Every day at Community Housing Ltd, which I have the privilege of leading as the CEO, we meet people who are homeless, in crisis and in desperate need for a home.  It is heartbreaking to hear some of the stories. But our mission is clear - we want to help as many people as we can to find a permanent home and support them to maintain that.

Taking part in the CEO Sleepout is not just about understanding what it's like to go without a warm bed or a safe home—things many of us take for granted. But, most importantly, I want to shine a spotlight on how complex homelessness really is. In addition to building more houses, it's also about making sure everyone can get the support they need to keep their home.

And all of this whilst raising money to help those who need essential resources and support to live from day to day. Your donation, big or small, will really help those who are in desperate need of assistance whilst giving them hope, dignity, and opportunities.
