One night isn't a lot, but it can make a whole lot of difference
Every night, thousands of Australians experience homelessness and with the current housing and cost of living crises it's only getting worse. But it doesn't have to be that way. This year I'm taking part in my third Vinnies CEO Sleepout to raise money for the St Vincent de Paul Society to support Australians in need. For one night, as a personal reality check, I'll be joining other CEO's and getting a small taste of homelessness by sleeping outside to help raise community awareness and bring home the realities of homelessness.
Our industry's mission is to improve the health and wellbeing of Australians and being homeless can only result in poor wellbeing both mentally and physically. I would love your support to help break the devastating cycle of homelessness.Â
