One night isn't a lot, but it can make a whole lot of difference
Every night, thousands of Aussies are without a safe place to sleep. It’s heartbreaking, and it doesn’t have to be this way.
This year marks my second time taking part in the Vinnies CEO Sleepout, raising funds for the incredible work St Vincent de Paul Society does in supporting people experiencing homelessness. For one night, I’ll be sleeping outside again to get just a small glimpse into the reality so many face every day, something no one should have to endure.
This cause is really close to my heart. Over the years, I’ve known people who've struggled with their mental health, some who've gotten through tough patches, others who’ve ended up sleeping rough, and heartbreakingly, some who’ve lost their lives. Homelessness and mental health are deeply intertwined, and the support Vinnies provides can genuinely be life-changing.
Any amount you can give will make a difference. Whether it’s the cost of a coffee or a larger contribution, it all goes directly to helping someone in desperate need.
