Participating in their 1st Vinnies CEO Sleepout
One night isn't a lot, but it can make a whole lot of difference
Homelessness isn't just what you see on the street - every night, thousands of Australians experience homelessness and are caught in a cycle of insecure housing or live in severely overcrowded situations.
But it doesn't have to be that way. It is up to all of us, especially business and government leaders to advocate for affordable housing and robust community services - and to support those in our local communities in need when they need it most.
This year I'm taking part in the Vinnies CEO Sleepout as a member of the GOATs team to raise money for the St Vincent de Paul Society to support and help make a difference for Australians in need. For one night, I'll be sleeping outside to raise awareness of this important cause and bring home the realities of homelessness.
To help break the devastating cycle of homelessness, I need as much support as I can get. I would appreciate any donation, no matter the size, to help me reach my fundraising target.
