Vinnies CEO Sleepout 2025 (“Event”) – The CEO Institute Promotion - Terms and Conditions (“Promotion”)
1. Promotion Period
The Promotion commences at 9am AEST on Tuesday, 27 May 2025 and closes at 10pm AEST on Friday, 20 June 2025 ("Promotion Period"). No entries will be accepted after this time.
2. Eligibility Entry
Is open to individuals (“Eligible Participants”) who meet all of the following criteria:
• Are aged 18 years or older;
• Are ordinarily resident in New South Wales (NSW), Queensland (QLD), Victoria (VIC), or South Australia (SA);
• Have registered to participate in the Vinnies CEO Sleepout 2025 (“Event”) prior to the commencement of the Promotion Period;
• Are the CEO or founder of a company or organisation with an annual turnover of at least AUD $2 million and a minimum of five full-time equivalent (FTE) employees, and who are otherwise eligible for membership with The CEO Institute (ABN 90 005 342 012), in accordance with its membership criteria (available at https://ceoinstitute.com/privacy-policy);
• Have, by the end of the Promotion Period, exceeded their nominated fundraising target on their personal online fundraising page for the Event. The prize must be used for a new membership with The CEO Institute. It cannot be applied towards the renewal, extension, or discounting of any existing membership. The prize may be transferred to another individual within the same organisation, provided it is for a syndicate or program of the same or lesser value and subject to the approval of The CEO Institute. All prize recipients must meet The CEO Institute’s standard eligibility requirements for membership. Eligible Participants will be automatically entered into the prize draw by the Promoter. Each Eligible Participant may only be entered once. Eligibility will be assessed based on the participant’s nominated fundraising target as recorded at the start of the Promotion Period.
The following individuals are not eligible to enter the prize draw:
• Employees, management, or volunteers of any St Vincent de Paul Society entity in Australia, as well as their immediate family members (defined as spouse, partner, parent, grandparent, child, or sibling);
• Any individuals or agencies directly associated with the administration or execution of the prize draw.
3. Prize Details
There are four (4) prizes to be won, with one (1) prize awarded to an Eligible Participant ordinarily resident in each of the following states: Queensland (QLD), New South Wales (NSW), Victoria (VIC), and South Australia (SA). Eligible Participants are limited to one (1) prize each. Each prize consists of a 12-month membership with The CEO Institute, with a minimum RRP value of AUD$15,000. The total prize pool has a minimum RRP value of AUD$60,000. Prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be redeemed for cash. 4.Winner Selection
Winners will be drawn at random using a certified random number generator at the Promoter’s offices at 2C West Street, Lewisham NSW 2049 at 2pm AEST on Friday, 27th June 2025. The Promoter will contact winners by email and phone within 2 business days of the prize draw. Winners will have 14 days (i.e., until Friday, 11 July 2025) to respond with written consent to their details being submitted to The CEO Institute to verify that eligibility criteria are met before final confirmation. Failure to provide such consent will result in the prize being forfeited by the winner and a redraw taking place at 2pm AEST on Monday, 14th July 2025 at the same location as the original prize draw. Winners whose eligibility has been verified will be contacted by email and phone within 5 business days of receiving consent with final confirmation (“Verified Winners”).
5. Notification of Winners
Details of Verified Winners (i.e., first initial, last name and postcode) will be published on the Event website (https://www.ceosleepout.org.au/) within 5 business days of their eligibility being verified (and in any case within 30 days of the prize draw) and will remain published for a minimum period of 28 days.
6. Unclaimed Prizes
To claim a prize, Verified Winners need to respond to the Promoter in writing to confirm acceptance and provide their contact details. If a prize is not claimed within 14 days of the Verified Winners being notified of final confirmation, the prize will be forfeited by the winner, and a redraw will take place at 2pm AEST on Monday, 18th August 2025 at the same location as the original prize draw. The winner(s) of any redraw will be subject to verification by The CEO Institute and notified of final confirmation per clause 4, and their names published on the Event’s website per clause 5.
7. Permits
Where required by law, licences/authorities/permits have been obtained for this Promotion, including in:
• South Australia: Licence No: T25/894
• New South Wales: Licence No: TP/04353
This promotion is conducted in accordance with the laws and regulations of Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, and South Australia.
8. Privacy
Eligible Participants’ personal information will be collected, used, stored and disclosed in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy (https://www.vinnies.org.au/nsw/about-us/nsw-privacy-policy). By consenting in accordance with clause 4, Eligible Participants consent to their personal information being shared with The CEO Institute for the purposes of verifying eligibility and arranging the prize.
9. General Conditions
The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or engages in any unlawful or improper conduct. If this Promotion is not capable of running as planned due to circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Promotion and/or select a winner from eligible entries received at the time, subject to relevant regulatory approval. The Promoter is not responsible for any tax implications arising from prize winnings. Independent financial advice should be sought by prize winners. The Promotion is governed by the laws of the relevant jurisdiction and Eligible Participants submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of that state.
10. Other terms
• The prize draw is being run by St Vincent de Paul Society NSW (ABN 91 161 127 340) (Promoter) of Charles O’Neill State Support Office, 2C West Street, Lewisham, NSW 2049 in its own capacity and as agent for the relevant St Vincent de Paul entities in each State or Territory the Promotion is being run, or in the State or Territory of residence of Eligible Participants (as applicable). • No responsibility is accepted for prize draw entries which are lost, corrupted, incomplete or for any failure to capture entry information.
• The decision of the Promoter in respect of all matters to do with the Promotion will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
• If for any reason the prize is not available, the Promoter may substitute it for another prize of equal or higher value (at the Promoter’s absolute discretion).
• The Promoter will have the right to publicly disclose the name of the Verified Winner(s), which may include on the Event website and/or social media pages.
• The Promoter will not be responsible for damages, losses or liabilities of any kind, including without limitation, direct, indirect or consequential loss or damages arising out of or in relation to the prize draw.
