One night isn't a lot, but it can make a whole lot of difference
Every night, thousands of Australians experience homelessness. Like many of us, I'm often guilty of turning a blind eye when I walk through our city and see those who are left out in the cold - in part because we just don't know what to do to help.
But it doesn't have to be that way. This year I'm taking part in the Vinnies CEO Sleepout to raise money for the St Vincent de Paul Society to support Australians in need. For one night, on the 2018 winter solstice, I'll be sleeping outside as part of an eye-opening experience to raise awareness and bring home the realities of homelessness. I'm also likely to find a greater understanding of the paths that bring people to this situation, through the twists of random fate that could change any of our lives.
To help break the devastating cycle of homelessness, I need your support. Will you help me to reach my target? Donating just 50 dollars can make a huge difference to people who need it most, and help them on a path to better things.
So far this year I helped provide
Individual support programs
