I am a Senior Executive in the Australian Public Service. I commenced with the Office of the Commonwealth on 17 June 2013 as Senior Assistant Ombudsman for Immigration and Overseas Students. I am also responsible for the ACT Ombudsman. My career in the Australian Public Service started in 1995 after serving 12 years with the Royal Australian Airforce. I have performed a range of leadership roles across the public service and led several public policy initiatives in Centrelink, DEEWR, the Defence Materiel Organisation and the Commonwealth Attorney-General’s Department. I have an Executive Masters in Public Administration and am currently undertaking a Graduate Certificate of Law at ANU.
I have a husband who is a current serving member of the RAAF and 2 adult children. I have a mad cat and a two dogs Scooter and Patch. I love walking and spending time with family and friends. I am a convener for the Canberra ANZSOG Alumni and active in a women’s Christian ministry team.
