Vinnies School Sleepouts
There are more than 100,000 Australians who sleep rough each night of the year. Just under half of these are women; a quarter of these are under the age of 18.
Vinnies School Sleepouts aim to raise awareness of homelessness and much-needed funds to assist Vinnies’ homeless services.
The St Vincent de Paul Society is asking you to get involved and hold a Sleepout in your school! To help you do this we have a Vinnies School Sleepout information kit which is a step-by-step guide to staging a Sleepout in your school. You can also set up your own fundraising page.
The Vinnies School Sleepouts provide schools with a way of making a real difference. They also offer an opportunity for schools to get involved and learn what life is like for those people living on the streets.
All funds raised by the Vinnies School Sleepouts will go towards supporting Vinnies’ homeless services.
