Vinnies Community Sleepouts
There are more than 100,000 Australians who sleep rough each night of the year. Just under half of these are women; a quarter of these are under the age of 18.
The Vinnies Community Sleepouts aim to raise awareness of homelessness and much-needed funds for Vinnies’ homeless services.
The St Vincent de Paul Society is asking you to get involved and hold a Sleepout in your community. To help you do this we have a Vinnies Community Sleepout information kit which is a step-by-step guide to staging your own Sleepout. You can even set up your own fundraising page.
Vinnies Community Sleepouts provide groups with a real way to make a difference. They offer an opportunity for people to get involved and learn what life is like for those living on the streets.
All funds raised by the Vinnies Community Sleepouts will go towards supporting Vinnies’ homeless services.
